SmartHub provides members with 24/7 online access to their electric accounts.
Quickly pay your bill without needing to log in. On our Pay Now site, you simply need your account number and last name or business name to make a payment.
Pay in Person
Pay your bill in person during our office hours- Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m.-4 p.m. and by appointment on Fridays. MiEnergy also has a drop box at both its Iowa and Minnesota locations.
The automatic payment plan is a convenient way to pay your monthly electric bill. You'll write fewer checks each month, you'll save on postage and your bill will be paid on time. Each month you'll receive a statement indicating the amount that will be withdrawn from your bank account.
Pay by Phone
To pay by phone, simply call our office or use our Pay by Phone line. You may access this system with either your account number (located on the top right corner of your bill statement) or your phone number. If you do not know your account number, call our office (1-800-432-2285) for that information. You will be asked to confirm your service address.
To help members control fluctuating monthly bills, MiEnergy Cooperative offers a budget payment plan. This plan allows you to pay in equal monthly installments, so you know ahead of time how much to budget for your utility bills. Monthly payments will be equal to 1/12 plus 10% of your estimated annual billings based on your usage history. Your MiEnergy budget will re-calculate 2 times per year on the May and November billing statements. Your billing account will also have a catch up month when your account balance will be due in May of every year.
You may request to be put on budget billing at any time if you have a zero balance on your account; in addition, to be on budget billing your bill must be paid on time.
