Cresco, IA | Rushford, MN (6 a.m. Dec. 16, 2021)— MiEnergy Cooperative’s service territory is experiencing widespread power outages due to the storm that rolled through yesterday evening. The cooperative is currently reporting approximately 1,000 services without power. This is down from a high of 7,500. All MiEnergy’s substations are back online. The remaining outages will take extra time to get restored as crews are reporting downed trees on power lines.
The cooperative would like to remind the public to report downed power line and to keep others away as it could be live.
