MiEnergy Cooperative issues a peak energy alert

A Peak Alert has been issued due to the predicted high demand for electricity on the regional grid. MiEnergy Cooperative is calling for electricity conservation on Thursday, Feb. 20. Elevated peak demand leads to higher power costs during the Peak Alert. Our members can help keep rates stable and affordable by conserving electricity during the Peak Alert period. Members enrolled in Interruptible Heating/Dual Fuel will have their heating equipment managed from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. during this time.
