To help members control fluctuating monthly bills, MiEnergy Cooperative offers a budget payment plan. This plan allows you to pay in equal monthly installments, so you know ahead of time how much to budget for your utility bills. Monthly payments will be equal to 1/12 plus 10% of your estimated annual billings based on your usage history. Your MiEnergy budget will recalculate 2 times per year on the May and November billing statements. Your billing account will also have a catch up month when your account balance will be due in May of every year.
You may request to be put on budget billing at any time if you have a zero balance on your account; in addition, to be on budget billing your bill must be paid on time.
