MiEnergy Cooperative issues a Peak Alert for Friday, Dec. 23

Conserve energy from 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Cresco, IA | Rushford, MN— A Peak Alert has been issued due to high demand for electricity on the regional grid. MiEnergy Cooperative is calling for electricity conservation from 6:55 a.m. to 10:05 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23. Elevated peak demand leads to higher power costs during the Peak Alert. Our members can help keep rates stable and affordable by conserving electricity during the Peak Alert period. Members enrolled in Interruptible Heating/Dual Fuel will have their heating equipment managed during this time.
