New Electric Service

To get started with your new electric service, please contact our office using the information at the bottom of this page. After speaking to Ruth (for Iowa) or Audra (for Minnesota), you will be given further instructions for completing the application and paying fees.
If your property does not already have electrical service:
Please download and complete the New Service Agreement form (fillable PDF). Please keep or save a copy for your records. Fees can be paid via the methods listed below.
Not currently a member (you are a member if you receive electricity from MiEnergy):
You will also need to download and complete the appropriate Member Application form and mail it to the cooperative.
To pay the fees:
Call our office (for credit card payments) at 1-800-432-2285.
Call the Pay by Telephone number (for payments by credit card or check) at 1-877-853-6517.
Pay via your SmartHub account (payments by credit card or check).
